Each year, a group of Rolling Hills adults travel domestically or internationally to spend a week serving the less fortunate. We have served in Guatemala, Kenya, South Dakota and West Virginia.
Youth Service Trip
The completed 8th-12th graders take an annual summer service trip. On this trip we learn about God, ourselves, our community, and how each fit together. It’s a life changing experience full of hard work, laughter, and love. We’d love YOU to be part of it!
Little Rock, AR - July 21 - 27, 2019
This summer our youth will travel to Little Rock, AR for our annual service Trip. We will stay at Second Presbyterian Church for a week and work with these local non-profits: Habitat for Humanity, Boys and Girls Club, Arkansas Foodbank and a home for the working homeless: Our House. Our theme for this trip is “Love Your Neighbor.”
We will also visit Heifer Village. They provide experiential education aimed to inspire, challenge, and engage people to end hunger and poverty and to care for the earth. If you have questions about the Youth Service Trip, please contact Kat Friedel or call the church office (913) 642-9100.
Adult Service Trip
Pine Ridge, South Dakota - August 24-30, 2019
This will be our 5th trip to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. This is one of the poorest counties in our country, and our service there is always valued and much needed. Most projects involve siding or window repair, trailer skirting, entry porch repair and handicap ramp.
If you have questions about the Adult Service Trip, please contact Drew Masters or call the church (913) 642-9100.
