Congregational Care Ministry
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursuing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock. 1 PETER 5: 2-3
Who We Are
The congregational care ministry works alongside pastors and staff to provide care for our church family. Congregational care is designed to connect the church with people, especially homebound and those in the hospital (or at home for aftercare). At Rolling Hills we are committed to healing and wholeness, sometimes it is as simple as showing up and reaching out- words of comfort or a listening ear.
Congregational care ministry is intentionally bringing together the Deacons shepherding, Stephen Ministry, card making and funeral receptions as a holistic approach to reaching across the aisles to our church family.
Our current team of trained CCM’s are Liz Belanger, Kathi Knop, Kay Fletcher, Christy Watson, Diane Smith, Iley Burkett, Linda Friedel, and Debbie Nelson.
